Inside Out Outside In Beauty Blog

Beauty begins from within and transcends outwardly. The health of your physical appearance is reflective of how you treat your body as a whole. What you eat, exercise, quality of sleep, spirituality, and emotional/life stressors will all impact how we look and feel.

We are what we eat. Diet and hydration are critical to the intricate balance of the complex cellular matrix that makes you who you are. Eating a well balanced diet with mindfulness to Organic and non-GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) is a critical part of maintaining your health down to the cellular level, which in turn will project outwardly with beautiful radiant skin, hair, nails, and overall well being.

As we age hormonal changes, muscle tonicity, bone mass loss, and vitamin deficiencies contribute to multiple disease processes. Incorporating a regular exercise program may help prevent illness and help with the aging process by stimulating bone mass, muscle tone, reducing fat, and releasing endorphins that reduce the process of aches and pains that are brought on by the aging process. These endorphins also help bring about feelings of euphoria and general well being.

Sleep pattern changes are part of the normal aging process. Sleep deprivation increases cardiovascular risks over time which can lead to high blood pressure, memory issues, mood changes, weakened immunity, weight gain, low sex drive, risk of diabetes, and poor balance. As we sleep our body is in a restorative state of healing.

Researchers have found that some elements of spiritual practices such as prayer, meditation, and visualization increase happiness as we grow older. Gratitude, generosity, refraining from negativity causes us to remain calmer, which in turn will help to maintain an inner and outer balance of wellness.

Stress is a part of everyday living. Chronic stress may accelerate premature aging and may cause damage down to the cellular level. Which in turn can cause depression, anxiety, social isolation, and over eating. Finding ways to reduce the effects of stress is a key component to anti aging, emotional and physical health. The combination of eating a nutrient rich diet, drinking filtered water, exercising regularly, quality sleep, and incorporating a spiritual practice may help age gracefully from the inside out.
